Over the last few nights, I have eased into a rhythm of sleeping during the day and awakening at night. It seems to suit me, I like the deserted roads; a landscape at rest undisturbed by ants like us. Welcome to the world of Fight Club, or the world of NHK. Whether you are confused, disillusioned, unnatural sleeper or hikkomori, we all share one thing in common. We have given up society and live in the shadows; the underworld. Why do I linger on the dark side of the earth? I'm still working that riddle out. It seems there is nothing clinging onto me from the side of day, nothing to stop me from drifting into darkness. Unfortunately it is always harder to come back to the otherside.
"In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved."
